Denise and I are, wanders. We love to take drives to nowhere and just explore. On our recent excursion to The Freezer with Denise’s mother, we decided to take the “scenic route” home. We discovered a few things in Homosassa that I thought we could share with you. The first, Wild Sassa Food Trailer! (The second, the Old Sugar Mill, which I will save for another day!)
But, not just any food trailer,
Unlike most food trailers, this “sea” food trailer has a dry dock location! (You can find it parked at Shelly’s Seafood, 5380 S Boulevard Dr., Homosassa, FL 34448) This seafood is so fresh, it was swimming this morning! LOL
I love little places like this one.
The people are always friendly, the menus are eclectic, the food delicious and the prices reasonable! Can it get any better than that? Stop by and see these nice folks and tell them you heard about them on Mr. Bill’s Travel Blog! (It won’t get you anything free, sorry!) LOL
When you get hungry, just wander on over and ring their bell… it’s ok!
It doesn’t matter where you are from or what you call your favorite beverage, soda, pop, or coke, they’ll serve them up cold! If you are from the North, you might want to try the sweet tea, but it is, just like it is called SWEET! LOL
Wild Sassa on Facebook – check their hours and “know before you go!”
This food trailer is located in a parking lot and is accessible by car, truck, boat, seaplane or mobility scooters (for my handicap friends)!
Let me share with you the most important thing I have discovered. Where ever you go, whatever you see, share it with others! Don’t be afraid to stop and smell the roses, to share a smile with a stranger, a meal with friends and build memories together that will last a lifetime!
